To be successful in the 23 Things course, you should be familiar with installing and troubleshooting your personal computer.    Most of the problems participants experience are related to their computer having out of date web browsers, or browser plug-in's.

A browser plug in, is simple a tool that allows your web browser to perform a function, such as displaying video, animations or interacting with a web application. Throughout the course, if you find that something is not working as expected, you may need to update your web browser, or a plug-in.
